- Profesor emérito de la Universidad de Lovaina, donde he enseñado durante treinta y ocho años la Semántica, el Español y la Ingeniería lingüística, soy doctor en Filosofía (Lovaina), doctor en Lingüística (Sorbona) y diplomado de la Escuela de altos estudios en ciencias sociales de París. Especializado en Semántica y lexicología, he preparado durante quince años un "Taller cervantino del Quijote", que se compone de una edición de los textos originales de 1605 y de 1615, acompañada de un diccionario enciclopédico. Europeísta convencido, animo desde 1961 la "Amistad europea universitaria por y para la amistad mundial".

La Amistad Europea Universitaria (AEU) es un movimiento universalista no burocrático para la Amistad Mundial y contra la xenofobia. Puede formar parte de este movimiento toda persona que vive su condición de universitario o de profesional universalista como un compromiso ético y deontológico activo de su persona y de su profesión con los valores universales de la humanidad. El carácter no burocrático de la AEU implica desde su creación la gratuidad total y la libertad absoluta de sus miembros para proceder en conciencia en sus compromisos en favor del universalismo humanitario.

L’Amitié Européenne Universitaire (AEU) est un mouvement universaliste non bureaucratique pour l'Amitié Mondiale et contre la xénophobie. Peut faire partie de ce mouvement toute personne que vit sa condition d'universitaire ou de professionnel universaliste comme un engagement éthique et déontologique actif de sa personne et de sa profession avec les valeurs universelles de l'humanité. Le caractère non bureaucratique de l’AEU implique depuis sa création sa gratuité totale et la liberté absolue de ses membres pour procéder en conscience dans leurs engagements en faveur de l’universalisme humanitaire.
